A Secret Untold

He captured my heart, that of the Sahara sun, the envy of Arctic foe..
for behold he was my sunrise glow..
A lake begins to tell my story,
as in rows...swans they float,
can only but remind me of my love...
in tune with that of a birds sweet note.

Hidden for years, discreet as an owl hidden from the day..
only as in awe and fear of what the people might say..

Oh but the heart is in its chamber,
locked up deep inside, with no key.
What no great explorer,
what no marvel scientist can see...

For bearing this secret is a wave in its tide,
was the day only I , Myself realised,
It was the day that he died..
