In a Day

Had this been a day,
I may only value more.
started in a lossI'm stripped and standing tore.

Had this been a day
of tears triumphant fall
broken from awaited eyes
shame masked and standing tall.

Had this never been a day
lifeless I would rest
emotions still but selfish not
conflicting what is best.

    wow.. am speechless.. i love the way you write, it's so vague, a thousand people may read this and each may come away with a different meaning.. cuz they all can relate to this piece from one point of their lives! (: (:
