Fusion
I awoke, my perception perished. I longed, amongst what was my silence. Amidst my loneliness I yearned for you the soul I never met but felt embodied too. A tear fell I wiped it away It, just like me felt stray. I understood its pity falling from hurt eyes. Outside my window no stars to make the night. Yet I hear their plea surely they were more lost than me. I felt their burden and sensed they were distant too. Stray stars in another galaxy sorrowful as my fallen tear. I wonder if ever they will be united to enlace as one reality. In skies of hope and love it's where you are and where I aspire to be. It is your smile that is the reason my tears do fall. It is the same smile that wipes them away.
